Boro is a traditional Japanese patchwork and mending technique that has its roots in frugality and sustainability. The word "boro" itself means "rags" or "tatters." It originated among the peasant and working-class communities in Japan, particularly during the Edo period (17th to 19th centuries) and continued into the early 20th century.
This Boro can be reversible. You can solo enjoy plain indigo blue side too.
Hand made, hand sewn in Japan.

Condition:
Great vintage condition. There are signs of age. There are some broken parts and patches for mending, however, these are part of the charm of this item. If you prefer perfect condition / mint condition vintage item please do not buy. I try to describe the kimono as accurately as possible.
