Kids Fireman Happi Kimono Jacket (Cotton Happy coat)
This cute jacket is a kids firefighter style happi-coat kimono jacket, and it is a replica of adult old time firefighter hanten jacket.
This jacket was probably made and given out children for the the Disaster Prevention Day ( or the Fire prevention day) events in Japan. The Disaster prevention takes place on 1st September every year in local primary schools or local fire stations . This day reminds us of the 1923 Great Kantō earthquake and on this day several disaster preparation activities are held throughout Japan.
Material: Cotton
Pattern: Japanese letters meaning 防火(fire prevention) and 火の用心 (Beware of fire)

Shoulder 42 cm / 16.5 inches
Pit to pit: 40 cm / 15.75 inches
Length: 52 cm / 20.47 inches
Sleeve width: 19 cm / 7.48 inches
Sleeve length: 20.5 cm / 8.07 inches

All measurements are taken from the back when the kimono is placed on a flat surface.

Condition:
Good used condition. There are minor color fading and may be mild sign of age, however, except that, We don't find other major stains, damages or faults. We try to describe the kimono as accurate as possible.

kimonos are almost box-shape. it will fit many sizes.
The boy in the pictures are age 4 years old and approximately 100cm height.
